Rodney Terry and company’s full 2024-25 schedule is now complete with the Southeastern Conference announcing the dates for league matchups on Tuesday.

Some midweek games could fall on either Tuesday or Wednesday. The SEC will announce midweek games, game times, and television information on a later date.

The Longhorns’ first SEC game will be against the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station at Reed Arena on January 4. Then, the SEC opener in the Moody Center will come either January 7 or 8 against the Auburn Tigers.

The Longhorns host Tennessee and former head coach Rick Barnes on January 11.

Texas’ first trip to fellow SEC newcomer Oklahoma arrives on January 14 or 15.

The road trip continues with the Longhorns heading to Florida on January 18.

Missouri awaits the Horns at home on January 21 or 22.

The second game with the Texas A&M Aggies is in Austin on January 25.

Terry and his program get a chance to face former UT head coach Chris Beard and the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford on January 28 or 29. That is the first of another stretch of back-to-back road games as Texas plays LSU in Baton Rouge on February 1.

A Southwest Conference rivalry renews on either February 4 or 5 in Austin when Arkansas comes to town under new head coach John Calipari.

The Longhorns head to Vanderbilt on Saturday, February 8.

Nate Oats‘ high-quality Alabama team comes to Texas on February 11 or 12.

That’s the first in a two-game homestand. Kentucky arrives on February 15 in the ‘Cats’ first season under Mark Pope.

The Longhorns get a week-long break before traveling to South Carolina on February 22.

After the trip to Columbia, Texas goes to Fayetteville to play the Hogs on February 25 or 26.

As the calendar turns to March, Texas hosts Georgia to open March Madness on March 1. The Longhorns then head to Mississippi State on March 4 or 5 for the last road trip of the regular season.

Texas ends the year with the Oklahoma Sooners in Austin on March 8.

The Longhorns’ non-conference schedule was previously revealed

Texas will begin the season on November 4 in Las Vegas, Nev. against Ohio State in the Hall of Fame Series. They’ll return home on November 8 to face Houston Christian and then face Chicago State on November 12.

On November 16, Texas will face Mississippi Valley State. The games against Houston Christian, Chicago State, and Mississippi Valley State will all take place at the Moody Center.

On November 21-22, Texas travels to Brooklyn, N.Y. as part of the Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper. The Longhorns will face Syracuse, and could face Saint Joseph’s or Texas Tech depending on the results of the multi-team event.

A week later on November 29, the Longhorns host Delaware State. The lone road game on the out-of-conference schedule is December 4 when Texas heads to Raleigh, N.C. to face NC State as part of the SEC-ACC Challenge.

The reigning national champs head to Austin on December 8 when UConn will venture into the Moody Center.

Then on December 12, Texas gets the first of a few more winnable games when New Mexico State heads to Austin. Arkansas-Pine Bluff visits on December 15, then New Orleans treks to the capital of Texas on December 19. Non-conference play concludes with Northwestern State on December 29.

Terry enters his third year as Texas’ full-time head coach. His record as acting, interim, and full-time head coach of the Longhorns is 43-21.
