In many ways it feels like it's already been a long offseason. Texas finished the season in late November, then hired Herman immediately. The finish to the 2017 recruiting cycle felt as long as watching The English Patient on codeine, and then we've had a month of very little to discuss other than some facility updates and light team news. Fortunately recruiting is again worthy of your time and interest.
Good news for the pure football fans, though, Spring practice begins this week, and then really kicks off the week following Spring break. We'll write a full Spring preview next week after we have the data points of a couple of shirts and shorts practices stemming from this Tuesday and Thursday.
We also recap a busy Opening Regional in Dallas was Texas targets talking UT, and ones to watch over the spring and summer. We finish with a Hoops Top 5 things to know heading into the basketball offseason.
