The Longhorns are hosting numerous elite prospects, many ranked in the top 150 and even top 50 nationwide. These visits are key to strengthening relationships with top talent early in the recruitment cycle.

Texas is pushing hard for Kaiden Prothrow from Georgia, a dynamic and athletic tight end. Competing with Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, Texas is selling its NFL tight end pipeline. He’ll visit officially June 20–22.

A standout from Sierra Canyon High, Richard Wesley has moved up a class and will visit Texas on March 27. Though young, his athleticism and frame show promise. Texas is evaluating edge talent carefully, and Wesley is a key prospect.

From Katy, TX, Kosi Okpala is a priority for Texas but also drawing attention from Penn State and UNC. He’s visiting Texas April 12. Texas is assessing linebacker priorities during spring visits, and Okpala is high on the list.

A 2026 receiver from New Orleans, Mack is being pursued by Texas, LSU, Ohio State, and others. He’s visiting Texas twice in April. Texas’s recent WR success (e.g., Xavier Worthy, Ryan Wingo) is part of the pitch.

Dia Bell has become a recruiter among recruits, coordinating visits and keeping peers connected. His involvement is helping Texas build momentum and unity among its top 2026 targets.

Texas staff will scout several high-profile events, including Elite 11 at Austin Westlake. Top QBs like Dia Bell and 2027 standout Kavian Bryant will be on display.
