Joe and RT begin with a look at Texas’ portal trifecta on Friday of Lavon Johnson, Jack Endries, and Mason Shipley and assess what each might bring to the table. They go over where Texas addressed major needs in the portal in both windows before looking at what position they’d like to bolster if possible. Joe goes on the defensive side of the ball while RT picks the offense.

The two then discuss the hot series Jonah Williams had in left field versus Auburn during Texas’ sweep of the Tigers. While his career is just starting, RT and Joe reminisce on some of the great men’s and women’s multi-sport athletes at Texas.

Schadenfreude of the week is then direct at North Carolina, who thought they had Johnson signed, sealed, and delivered before Texas came calling.
