The state of Texas boasts 14 players in the top-100 of the updated 2026 On3 recruiting rankings
Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns won’t have to travel too far for some of the best football players in the 2026 class. On3 updated its 2026 recruiting rankings on Monday and 14 players from the state of Texas rank within the top 100, including Longhorns commit and Aledo (Texas) running back Raycine Guillory.

Guillory, the only player committed in the 2026 class, checked in as the No. 98 overall prospect.
Overall, 42 players from the Texas high school football ranks were within the latest On300. The highest-ranked prospect was Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley OL John Turntine, who could be the best prospect from the Lone Star State regardless of classification.
In addition to the Texans in the top 300, there are elite prospects from across the country the Longhorns are involved with. Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver and Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr. was the No. 2 overall prospect. Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic DB Blaine Bradford was the No. 1 safety and the No. 10 overall prospect. Bradford visited Texas twice during the spring of 2024.
