There's already a spread for next week's Texas vs. Georgia matchup, and the Horns are the favorite
The focus and attention of the No. 1 Texas Longhorns and their fans is squarely on the No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners ahead of the Red River Shootout in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. But the same attention is not shared by the sports books.

FanDuel has already released a line for Texas’ titanic home matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs next Saturday, a game scheduled to kick at 6:30 p.m. Texas is listed as a -2.5 favorite over the visiting Bulldogs, with the over/under set at 54.5.
Texas -2.5 has a -115 juice, while Georgia +2.5 is juiced to -105. The Longhorns are -137 on the moneyline is while the same for Georgia is +114.
Both sides of the points total are juiced to -110.
This will be the sixth game between the two teams, with Texas holding a 4-1 advantage. The Longhorns and Bulldogs last met in 2019 at the Sugar Bowl, when Sam Ehlinger and company defeated Jake Fromm 28-21 to cap a 10-4 season.
The Longhorns have wins in three other instances against UGA. Texas won 13-8 in Austin in 1958, 26-7 in Atlanta in 1957, and 41-28 in Miami in the Orange Bowl on New Years Day in 1949.

Georgia’s one win over the Longhorns was one that may have cost Texas a national championship. Georgia defeated Texas 10-9 due to a late dropped punt in the 1984 Cotton Bowl.
For this week’s game with the Sooners, Texas is a -14.5 favorite and a -720 favorite on the moneyline. The points total is set at 48.5.
Texas vs. Oklahoma is set to kick off on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game will be nationally televised by ABC.
