The No. 1 Texas Longhorns make their long-awaited Southeastern Conference debut on Saturday when they host the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at 3:15 p.m. Central, and one of the games of the year is set to begin right after Texas and Mississippi State wrap up their battle.

For the first time in the regular season since 2020, and for the first time with a sold-out Bryant-Denny Stadium since Nick Saban’s first year at Alabama in 2007, Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs will head to Tuscaloosa to attempt to earn what would be the best win of the 2024 season as the midpoint of this year’s campaign approaches.
