Kelvin Banks was a named to the Walter Camp All-America first team while Jahdae Barron and Anthony Hill earned second-team honors, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced Thursday night. The Walter Camp Football Foundation is one of the five recognized All-America selectors that the NCAA uses to determine consensus or unanimous All-American status.

Banks, the winner of both the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Award, started all 12 games in the regular season and missed his first career game on Saturday in the SEC Championship game. That broke a streak of 39 straight starts that began with the first game of his true freshman year.

One of the best linemen in school history, Banks has a chance to become the first Longhorn offensive lineman taken in the first round of the NFL Draft since the Buffalo Bills selected Mike Williams with the fourth overall pick in 2002.

Barron, the winner of the Jim Thorpe Award, has been the Longhorns defensive heart-and-soul as part of a renaissance year for Pete Kwiatkowski‘s side of the football. A staple at boundary corner who moonlights as a versatile piece the Longhorn defense can utilize on passing downs, Barron has 47 tackles this year with 2.0 for loss plus 1.0 sack. He leads the Longhorns with five interceptions and he has also forced two fumbles.

Hill, a sophomore, backed up a freshman All-American season in 2023 with a second-team All-American season in 2024. As the Longhorns’ starting middle linebacker in every game, Hill wore the coach-to-player communication device in every game in the center of the Texas defense. A second-team All-SEC pick, Hill has posted 90 tackles with 16.0 for loss plus 7.5 sacks. He has four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and one interception on the season.
