Thursday's SEC Injury Report provides updates on the Texas-Arkansas matchup this weekend

On Thursday evening, the SEC released injury reports for this weekend’s matchup between former rivals No. 3 Texas Longhorns (8-1) and 5-4 Arkansas Razorbacks (5-4).

Not much movement for the Longhorns on Thursday night. The four of the five players OUT include CJ Baxter, Derek Williams, Christian Clark, and Velton Gardner, where as Colton Vasek was downgraded from DOUBTFUL to OUT. Texas linebacker Morice Blackwell is still listed as doubtful.

Arkansas’ quarterback Taylen Green, running back Braylen Russell, and running back Ja’Quinden Jackson are PROBABLE for Saturday’s contest.

Reporting Requirements

SEC school personnel must submit availability reports three days before each football game, with daily updates leading to a final report 90 minutes prior to game time. For basketball and baseball, reports are filed the night before the game, with an update on game day.

Player Status Designations

Players are designated as “available,” “probable,” “questionable,” “doubtful,” or “out” before game day; and as “available,” “game time decision,” or “out” on game day.

Consequences for Non-Compliance

Penalties for inaccurate or late reports range from $25,000 – $100,000 for football and up to $15,000 – $25,000 for basketball and baseball.
