With 50 offers, the Peach State product cut things to six schools on Monday: Texas, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. He’s getting closer to new Texas RB coach Chad Scott.

He was at Georgia and Wisconsin for unofficial trips this Spring, and looking forward to his official visit schedule in June. He’s set to see Austin on June 13-15, sources tell IT.

He’ll also OV to Wisconsin on May 30, Michigan on June 6, and Georgia on June 20, and then could have a decision.

“My decision could come in the middle of May to early June,” Latimer told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I am still deciding on that. There is still a lot we are looking at and thinking about right now. I could take my official visits first or I could commit right before. It will be about the feeling I have.”

Where do you the Horns fit in his recruitment?

“I love Texas and the atmosphere. Coach Scott is a good coach, I like their fan base and Texas is a top program.”

Latimer is the No. 177th rated overall prospect, No. 19th rated running back, and No. 22 rated talent in Georgia for the Class of 2026, according to the On3 Recruiting Rankings.
