The 6-foot-4.5, 195-pounder started three games as a sophomore before becoming a top target for regional programs this summer and during the season.

Owens was named the 17-6A Offensive MVP following a junior season that included 3,057 yards passing and 34 touchdowns. The standout campaign helped lead Cy-Fair High to a 10-2 record with high hopes in program for the 2023 season.
