Many of the top prospects in the state of Texas and neighboring states will be taking part in the Under Armour Camp Series stop in Dallas beginning at 9 a.m. central.

A number of Texas targets in the classes of 2024 and 2025 are scheduled to be in attendance today.

Kobe Black, DB, Waco (Texas) Connally
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 11

Texas has put itself in a great position with one of the nation’s top-rated prospects. Black has seen Austin twice in the last nine months, including Junior Day in January. Texas A&M, Oregon, and LSU remain the top contenders.

Corian Gipson, DB, Lancaster (Texas)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 65

The Horns remain in a strong position with the state’s top safety. At 6-foot-0, 165 pounds, the On3 four-star is being recruited at cornerback, nickel, and safety, and has the ability to play all three spots at the college level.

Daniel Cruz, OL, Fort Worth (Texas) North Richland Hills
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 431

Texas remains in the driver’s seat for for one of the state’s top o-lineman. Cruz is set to see Austin in June for an official visit. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound On3 three-star projects to center at the next level.

Taylor Tatum, RB, Longview (Texas)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 40
Top Offers: Texas, Georgia, Alabama, USC, Michigan, Penn State, Miami

The state’s top-rated tailback is wide open in his recruitment. Getting close to 40 offers, the multi-sport athlete excels in baseball and on the track as well. Texas is in a great spot here, as Tatum and fellow target Jerrick Gibson continue to connect.

Payton Pierce, LB, Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 218

The natural inside linebacker and wrestling star was a starter as a freshman at Allen two years ago. His upside is apparent and the Longhorns continue to build a solid relationship with the Metroplex stud.

Aeryn Hampton, WR, Carthage (Texas)

The former Texas and Baylor commit is hoping the third time is a charm for picking his future college program. The east Texas native recently moved from Daingerfield to Carthage, where he’ll play wide receiver for Scott Surratt. Hampton is set to see LSU this weekend.

Selman Bridges, DB, Temple (Texas) Lake Belton

The 6-foot-4 defensive back exploded on the recruiting scene at the beginning of 2023 and hasn’t looked back. Texas and Steve Sarkisian offered the rising Cen-Tex product in late January and he’s set to see Austin on March 25th. He’s got a full schedule this spring, where he took an unofficial to Southern California on Wednesday.

Terry Bussey, WR, Timpson (Texas)

On3’s top-rated athlete for 2024 does everything. Football, basketball, baseball, track and field, Bussey is a known commodity in the state. Bussey is wide open in his recruitment, with Texas A&M leading the pack early. Texas is interested, but to what level remains to be seen. He’s looking at a Texas unofficial visit this Spring.

Bryant Wesco, WR, Midlothian (Texas)

The rising receiver prospect is turning heads and setting visits. At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, the multi-sport stud and On3 four-star is pretty open in his recruitment. Texas is certainly interested in him and hoping to get on campus this spring.
