The Under Armour Next Football Camp Series will continue this weekend in Dallas after previous stops in Miami, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Over 200 of the top prospects from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 cycles will make their way to Martin High School in Arlington, Texas on Sunday.

The roster for this event is loaded with top talent and features dozens of blue-chip prospects from the 2023 and 2024 cycles. This should be one of the more talented events over the course of the off-season calendar. On3 will be out in full force for extensive coverage.

Five star David Hicks headlines loaded DL group
On3 Consensus 5-star David Hicks is fresh off an unofficial visit to Texas A&M with the Aggies battling Oklahoma at the top of the defensive tackles list. Miami, Oregon and Texas are on the peripheral, along with others.
Joining Hicks at the position is On3 Consensus No. 83 Jordan Renaud, On300 No. 199 Ansel Nedore and On3 Consensus No. 237 Johnny Bowens. Renaud made a visit to Oklahoma last weekend, and has notched a recent offer from National Champion Georgia. Nedore is an On3 pick to have a good testing day Sunday. Bowens, a Texas A&M commitment, is one of the top athletes at the position in the 2023 cycle.
One of the most intriguing prospects that is scheduled to be on hand is Samu Taumanupepe. The athletic defensive tackle prospect is expected to check in at north of 6-foot-3 and 375 pounds, and is light on his feet. He recently made a visit to Texas. He has offers from Oregon, Baylor, Colorado, Houston among a growing list.
Two prospects that On3 projects as offensive linemen long term that are working out at defensive line are On3 Consensus 4-star Terrance Green and On300 No. 139 Riley Van Poppel. The 6-foot-5, 267-pound Green has visits scheduled to USC and Oregon in the next week, and an official visit to Oklahoma State scheduled in April. Texas, Miami and Florida are among the programs that could offer soon. Van Poppel recently made a visit to Nebraska, and has added recent offers from California, Washington and Vanderbilt.
The state of Louisiana will be represented by EDGE Matthew Fobbs-White and expected spring riser Ashley Williams. Oklahoma State and Baylor are two of eight offers for Fobbs-White, a teammate of On300 No. 15 Zalance Heard at Neville High.
Defensive backs headlined by Notre Dame commit
Notre Dame safety commit Peyton Bowen headlines a very strong group of defensive backs that includes five members of the On300 for the 2023 cycle. Dallas South Oak Cliff teammates Malik Muhammad and Jayvon Thomas are the No. 6 and 8 ranked cornerbacks in the class nationally. Muhammad is a technician at early age, while Thomas has very high ceiling upside athletically. Notre Dame is high on the list of Muhammad, while Thomas’ father played defensive line at Notre Dame.
On3 Consensus No. 30 Javien Toviano is fresh off a visit to LSU. He will make trips to Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma in the spring and summer.
Two speedy prospects to keep an eye on Sunday are Jordan Sanford and TayShawn Wilson. Sanford has a 10.78 100 meters to his credit, while Wilson has already posted a 10.62 in March. Texas Tech is considered a front-runner for Sanford over Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Colorado. Wilson is scheduled to make a visit to Texas April 9.

Another stellar crop of wide receivers in Texas
The class of receivers in the Lone Star State in the 2022 cycle was a special one. The 2023 cycle may not have the 5-stars like 2022, but there are several On3 Consensus 4-stars in the state. No. 42 Johntay Cook II headlines the talented group. Cook is considered a Texas vs. Texas A&M battle with LSU and others in hot pursuit.
Oklahoma commitment and No. 137 Ashton Cozart is a precision route runner at near 6-foot-3 with high-end initial quickness and 10.7 100 meter speed.
On3 Consensus 4-stars Jalen Hale and Braylon James may not post the eye-popping testing numbers of some others, but both are playmakers on Friday nights. Hale was on campus at Alabama last weekend. James is one of several big time prospects from Central Texas in the 2023 cycle. He will make the short drive to visit Texas March 26.
On300 No. 173 Cordale Russell will be the best looking prospect on the hoof at the position Sunday. And when the ball is in the air, he is a winner.
Texas Tech commitment Tyrone West is another talented catch and run receiver that will be on hand. Arkansas verbal Anthony Evans is a sound bet to put up quality testing numbers. And Noble Johnson and Kelby Valsin will both turn heads.
At tight end, there are not many seeing their stock rise quicker than Reid Mikeska. The son fo former Virginia defensive end Matt Mikeska has picked up offers from Miami, Florida State, LSU, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Kentucky this month.
