Update on Texas Longhorns in the NBA at the All-Star Break
Ten former University of Texas basketball players are currently on NBA rosters as the association heads for the All-Star break of its 2022-23 regular season.

Here’s a list of those players in alphabetical order, with their stats as of Feb. 16, 2023.
Jarrett Allen, C, Cleveland
Allen, in his sixth NBA season and second with the Cavaliers, has played in 54 games and is scoring at a 14.2 points per game clip while averaging 9.9 rebounds a contest.
Mohamed Bamba, C, Los Angeles
Bamba, in his fifth season, was traded from Orlando to the Lakers on Feb. 9. He has alternated between starting and coming off the bench this year and is averaging 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 41 appearances, all but one with the Magic.
Greg Brown III, F, Portland
Brown, in his second season, both with Portland, has seen action in 16 games off the bench, scoring 1.8 points per game and averaging 1.2 rebounds per outing. He has also played in four games this year with Ontario of the G-League.
Kevin Durant, F, Phoenix
Durant, a perennial all-star and on the short list of the best players in the NBA, is in his 16th season in the league. He was traded from Brooklyn to the Suns on Feb. 9. He is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest in his 39 games this year, all with the Nets. Durant has been on the shelf with a knee injury since Jan. 8 and has not yet been cleared to return to action.
Jaxson Hayes, F, New Orleans
Hayes, in his fourth year, all with the Pelicans, has been mostly a reserve this season. He is averaging 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds in 33 games in 2022-23.
Kai Jones, F, Charlotte
Jones, who has spent both his NBA seasons with the Hornets, has seen action in 27 games this year, averaging 2.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per outing.

Cory Joseph, G, Detroit
Joseph, who has played 12 seasons in the NBA – the past three with the Pistons – is a key reserve, averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 assists in 40 games in 2022-23.
Jericho Sims, C, New York
The soft-spoken Sims, drafted in 2021, is in his second season with the Knicks. He is averaging 3.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 47 games.
P.J. Tucker, F, Philadelphia
Tucker, who is a defensive specialist and tenacious rebounder, is in his 12th NBA season and his first with the Sixers. He is scoring 3.4 points per game and grabbing 3.9 rebounds in 55 contests this year.
Myles Turner, C-F, Indiana
Turner, in his eighth NBA season, all with the Pacers, has played in 50 games this season, averaging 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per appearance.
