Sarkisian discussed the ongoing discussion about whether the Southeastern Conference should switch to a nine-game league schedule, his ability to develop offensive line, and how much he tries to insulate Arch Manning from outside attention.

The relevance of the SEC Championship was a topic brought up, and Sarkisian showed his depth of Longhorn sports knowledge when talking about how the conference tournament affects the NCAA Tournament in a variety of sports. It’s different for football, and the idea of what a “play-in” looks like was something Sarkisian went over.

Portal window timing was also brought up, and Sarkisian said he would prefer just one transfer portal window.

He concludes by talking about the offensive line and how Kyle Flood has developed players in order to avoid having to go to the portal.
