Watch behind the scenes of Texas receiver Adonai Mitchell getting drafted, "I'm going to make you look like geniuses"
Normally I wouldn’t turn something like this into an article but given Adonai Mitchell‘s slip in the draft from mid-to-late first-rounder down to No. 52 in the second-round I felt it was worth sharing due to its redeeming qualities.

In the week leading up to the draft there were numerous reports that painted Texas’ junior wide receiver in a negative light. We won’t give those reports oxygen, especially since we never heard any of that sentiment from our own sources at Inside Texas.
Mitchell was viewed as a good teammate at Texas who one source mentioned, “you could tell he comes from a championship culture.” Mitchell’s previous school was the University of Georgia where he helped the Bulldogs win two national titles.
His breakout came in his lone season at Texas when he hauled in 57 receptions for 846 yards and a robust 11 touchdowns. He was also clutch in key moments, including in the huge win over Alabama where he hauled in two touchdowns and TCU where he put the game away on a difficult reception while falling to the ground.

Obviously the video is edited, but does this seem like a “disinterested” player to you? Does it seem like a staff with significant concerns or one that feels it got a steal?
“I’m going to make you look like geniuses,” said Mitchell and he certainly has the talent to do so.
