Hogan is a longtime fixture in Austin sports radio. He’s currently the host of Hook ‘Em Up with E and Rod B on 104.9 The Horn FM in Austin on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Rod Babers. Hogan has been around the Longhorn sports scene for over two decades, and continues to be a mainstay in the sports radio market in Austin.
Hogan will host the watch-a-long and be joined by several different members of the Inside Texas staff.
Bobby Burton will join Hogan for the first quarter of action. Burton is one of the godfathers of the recruiting industry and joined Inside Texas in 2020. Burton is a 1992 alum of the University of Texas. A leading recruiting expert in his 20s and 30s, Burton appeared on TV and radio shows nationwide and was ranked the 88th most powerful person in sports by Sporting News in 2000. Burton is one of the founding partners of both Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.
Eric Nahlin will join in the second quarter. Nahlin is the managing partner of Inside Texas and has been writing about Texas Longhorns football since the heyday of Mack Brown. Nahlin joined Inside Texas in 2011 as a part-time staff writer, and progressed to a full-time feature writer and editor before purchasing the site in 2020.

Ian Boyd will be a part of the broadcast in the third quarter. Boyd is the lead X’s and O’s analyst for Inside Texas and also published Flyover Football: How the Big 12 became the frontier of modern offense. He also comments on college football on America’s War Game on Substack.
Gerry Hamilton has the final stanza with Hogan. Hamilton brings over two decades of experience to Inside Texas. Hamilton joined On3 after serving as a national recruiting analyst for ESPN for eight years. At ESPN, Hamilton was a member of ESPN Recruiting Nation, national signing day shows, and Under Armour practices and games.
