Where Texas commits and targets rank in the latest 2024 On300
On3 updated the 2024 On300 on Monday, and there was movement in the rankings for several Texas commits and targets.

Duncanville (Texas) EDGE Colin Simmons remains the No. 4 overall prospect but is now the No. 2 EDGE in On3’s rankings after Williams Nwaneri‘s ascent to the top spot and change in position designation.
Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain cornerback Santana Wilson moved up one place to the No. 94 spot.
IMG Academy running back Jerrick Gibson remained the No. 117 overall prospect.
North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland interior offensive lineman Daniel Cruz jumped 23 places to No. 147.
Duncanville (Texas) defensive lineman Alex January also moved up, ascending 16 places to the No. 214 overall position.
Daingerfield (Texas) dynamo Aeryn Hampton fell from the No. 158 position to No. 220. He also had his position designation changed from wide receiver to athlete.
Orlando (Fla.) Jones defensive lineman D’antre Robinson moved up a number of places from No. 271 to No. 225.
Texas saw one player previously in the On300 fall out of the rankings. San Antonio (Texas) Smithson Valley wide receiver Freddie Dubose fell from the No. 234 ranking out of the top 300. His On3 rating fell from 91 to 90.
There were numerous targets who saw their rankings change.
Temple (Texas) Lake Belton wideout and Texas Tech commit Micah Hudson dropped from No. 8 to No. 10, but remained a five-star.

Beaumont (Texas) United offensive lineman and Texas A&M commit Weston Davis earned five-star billing after moving up from No. 20 to No. 18 overall.
Timpson (Texas) athlete Terry Bussey, previously No. 37 overall in the rankings, is now No. 26.
Lancaster (Texas) defensive back and Clemson commit Corian Gipson shot up in the rankings, moving from No. 71 to No. 38.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive lineman Brandon Baker fell nine places to No. 49 in the country.
Marrero (La.) John Ehret defensive back and Florida commit Wardell Mack tumbled from No. 19 to No. 52.
Tulsa (Okla.) NOAH Homeschool EDGE Danny Okoye moved up 10 spots from No. 76 to No. 66.
Waco (Texas) Connally cornerback Kobe Black was listed as the No. 74 overall prospect after previously holding the No. 68 spot.
St. Louis (Mo.) University High’s Ryan Wingo earned the No. 91 ranking, up from No. 97.
Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day EDGE Solomon Williams dropped 29 places to No. 181 overall.
Jasper (Texas) linebacker and Texas A&M commit Tyanthony Smith entered the rankings at the No. 255 spot.
One-time Texas commit Hunter Moddon dropped from No. 277 to No. 290.
