As November chugs along, each result for top-10 teams is more and more meaningful. Wins carry weight. Losses entail elimination.

Here’s who and where the College Football Playoff’s top 10 are playing this weekend.

1. Ohio State

The top-ranked Buckeyes welcome 3-7 Michigan State to Ohio Stadium on Saturday. Like many teams around the country, Ohio State is dealing with injuries in November. However, Marvin Harrison Jr. still suits up weekly and TreVeyon Henderson returned recently to provide a jolt to Ryan Day‘s offense.

OSU is a 31.5-point favorite. The game will kick at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

2. Georgia

One of the most important games of the season in the Southeastern Conference takes place in Athens on Saturday. No. 9 Ole Miss, whose only setback this year is a loss to No. 8 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, travels to Sanford Stadium to take on the Bulldogs. Georgia is looking for its sixth consecutive 10-win season, excluding 2020. Ole Miss is looking to upend the college football landscape.

Kickoff in Athens is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday. Georgia is an 11-point favorite.

3. Michigan

Despite everything that’s going on in the world of Michigan football, the Wolverines play a game this Saturday. It just so happens to be the first real test on their schedule, and it coincides with potentially being without Jim Harbaugh in Happy Valley. Penn State is seeking a signature win after losing to Ohio State earlier in the year.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Beaver Stadium. Michigan is a four-point favorite.

4. Florida State

The Seminoles host the Miami Hurricanes as Mike Norvell‘s November stretch features rivalry games in two of the final three contests. FSU will end the year with Florida, with a game with North Alabama sandwiched in between.

The game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start in Tallahassee.

5. Washington

One of the biggest remaining challenges for the Huskies comes this weekend, as the No. 18 Utah Utes travel to Seattle for a game that has plenty of regional and national implications. The Utes are still down Cam Rising and have been woeful on offense without him, so their defense will be tasked with slowing down Michael Penix and the Washington wide receiver corps.

Kickoff is at 2:30 on Saturday. Washington is a 9.5-point favorite.

6. Oregon

The Ducks host the USC Trojans in Eugene in a game that’s likely to surpass the 75.5-point over/under. Lincoln Riley dumped Alex Grinch after the Trojan defense allowed 50+ points to Washington, but that’s not likely to solve the myriad issues facing USC ahead of the matchup with Bo Nix.

This’ll be Pac 12 After Dark, as the game kicks at 9:30 p.m. Central. Oregon is a 15.5-point favorite.

7. Texas

The Longhorns head north on IH-35 to face TCU for the last scheduled battle between the two teams. As members of the Big 12, TCU holds a 8-3 advantage over Texas. Quinn Ewers and the Horns look to make it 8-4 on Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Texas is a 12-point favorite.

8. Alabama

Thanks to continued high-level play by Jalen Milroe and a salty Nick Saban defense, the Crimson Tide remain in the thick of the national title picture despite an early season setback suffered at the hands of the Longhorns. Bama heads to the Bluegrass State to face Kentucky in Lexington. That game kicks off at 11 a.m. Alabama is an 11-point favorite.

9. Ole Miss

It’s a defining game for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. While Ole Miss can’t reach the SEC title game unless Alabama loses another game, it can certainly change the CFB landscape with an upset win in Athens.

10. Penn State

What applies to Ole Miss also applies to Penn State, James Franklin, and the Big 10. Franklin has sought to elevate the Nittany Lions into the echelon where Michigan and Ohio State reside, but that’s been just out of reach for the past few seasons. A win versus Michigan, whether Harbaugh is present or not, would go a long way toward proving PSU is deserving of a spot in that group.
