Tommy Trojan Game Day Tips:

Tempe: The place to check out on Friday night and on game day is Mill Street. It has all the local hangouts and bars to make Trojans fans have a rocking good time. If you want to get out of the heat before the evening’s kick-off, you can hang either inside or outside of the many establishments.

For those that have some free time during the day before the USC/ASU night game, there are a number of beautiful golf courses (photo above) in the general Phoenix/Tempe area. (Photo by Justin Tafoya/NCAA Photos via Getty Images)

Pre-game: Trojans fans can see “Sparky,” the Spirit Squad and the Sun Devil Marching Band in Wells Fargo Arena three hours prior to kickoff. Sun Devil Stadium opens 90 minutes before kick-off. Sun Devil trivia, team warm-ups, the Sun Devil Marching Band and highlights of the previous games are just a few of the features of the countdown to kick-off. Seat backs are available for rental ($6) at various locations throughout Sun Devil Stadium. For Trojans fans, this will be a chance to see the “new” renovated Sun Devils Stadium, which now has a greatly reduced capacity (see above).

THE COORS LIGHT SUN DEVIL TAILGATE

The Coors Light Sun Devil Tailgate is the official tailgate party of Sun Devil Athletics and features live music, beverages from Coors Light and Coca-Cola, food from favorite local restaurants, all of the college football games on high definition televisions, and a cooling system to keep the heat away! Located in the Desert Arboretum at Sun Devil Stadium, the tailgate opens three hours prior to the scheduled kickoff and welcomes fans of all ages.
