2025 4-star DL Christian Garrett includes USC in top-7

Another elite defensive lineman in the 2025 class has named the USC Trojans in his top group. Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian School defensive lineman Christian Garrett announced his top-7 on Thursday.
Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Tennessee and USC made the cut for the 6-foot-3, 275 pounder.
Garrett is the No. 95 overall prospect and No. 11 defensive lineman in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 15 player in Georgia.
On3 is higher on Garrett than the rest in the industry, tabbing him as the No. 71 overall prospect and No. 9 defensive lineman.
“I am not shutting things down, but I am narrowing things down and focusing on a smaller selection of schools,” Garrett told On3. “Communication with these schools has been strong and all have good things I like. I have visited five of the schools, I know a lot about them and I see these schools as a good fit for me and my family. I am confident that they can develop me as a man and football player.”
Of the schools in his list, Garrett has visited Georgia five times, Clemson and Tennessee three times, Georgia Tech two times and Alabama once.
Garrett has not yet visited Ole Miss and USC. He has been talking more with coaches from those schools and both intrigue him.

“I now want to find out more about Ole Miss and USC. I have had a good first interaction with their coaches. Now I just need to visit and see how I feel.”
I would expect Garrett to visit USC this upcoming spring to evaluate whether he will take an official visit in the summer. He told On3 what his plans are in terms of visits in the future.
“My plan is to take five official visits in the summer, look everything over with my family and coaches, then commit in the summer. It will come down to relationships and who can develop me. It is about the fit for me and my family.”
Garrett also spoke with On3’s Hayes Fawcett about his top list.
“USC is definitely somewhere I didn’t see myself ending up, but recently after I got to know coach Nua and coach Riley, I feel like they’re building something special and that they’re on the come up. So, I wanna figure out more about them.”
