2025 TE Jack VanDorselaer names USC in top-9
2025 Southlake (Tex.) Carroll four-star tight end Jack VanDorselaer took a big step in his recruitment today as he release a top group, consisting of nine teams. USC, who VanDorselaer has told WeAreSC he has been high on, cracked the list.
VanDorselaer is ranked as the No. 302 overall prospect and No. 17 tight end in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 52 prospect in Texas.
The nine schools to get featured were USC, TCU, Michigan, Oregon, Baylor, Miami, Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama.
“Very blessed and thankful for all the coaches and schools that have given me an opportunity to play at the next level.”
VanDorselaer took a multi-day trip to USC in June, a visit he told WeAreSC was a big success. That is now shown publicly as the Trojans make his top group.
Hanson building early
VanDoreselaer told me previously that his relationship with tight ends coach Zach Hanson has started off strong.
While on his visit in June, the two will be able to connect and really grow their relationship to the next level.

RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
On3 NIL Valuation for VanDoreselaer
VanDorselaer currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $25K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
