The Big Ten announced USC’s conference opponents for the 2024-2028 seasons on Thursday. The conference had previously announced the 2024 and 2025 opponents, but with the addition of Oregon and Washington, those schedules have been amended.

In 2024, USC will host Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin. The Trojans will travel to Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington and UCLA.

In 2025, USC will host Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern and UCLA at the Coliseum. Road games will be at Illinois, Nebraska, Oregon and Purdue.

The 2026 home schedule creatures Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon and Washington. USC will travel to Indiana, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin and UCLA.

In 2027, USC hosts Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin and UCLA. Road trips will be to Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State and Washington.

And in 2028, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State and Purdue will play at the Coliseum. USC will play Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon and UCLA on the road.

The USC – UCLA game is one of the Big Ten’s protected rivalry games. USC will also play at least one of Oregon or Washington in each of the next five seasons.

According to a USC press release, the 2024 Big Ten football season will debut the Flex Protect Plus model, which features a combination of protected opponents and rotating opponents for universities. Each member institution will play nine intraconference games per season, and teams will play each Conference opponent at least twice – once home and once away – in a five-year cycle.

The 2024 season will conclude with the annual Big Ten Football Championship Game, which will feature the top two teams in the overall conference standings at the end of the regular season, with the winner earning the Big Ten Championship. Tiebreaking procedures will be announced later.

USC’s 2024 season now sets up with a who’s who of some of college football’s iconic programs.

USC will open against LSU in Las Vegas in the Kickoff Classic. Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, UCLA, Washington and Wisconsin are all on the schedule. That means the Trojans will play teams currently ranked Nos. 2, 6, 7, 10, and 23, as well as three of the top six teams also receiving votes in the AP poll.

The guaranteed annual protected Big Ten matchups are Illinois-Northwestern, Illinois-Purdue, Indiana-Purdue, Iowa-Minnesota, Iowa-Nebraska, Iowa-Wisconsin, Maryland-Rutgers, Michigan-Michigan State, Michigan-Ohio State, Minnesota-Wisconsin, Oregon-Washington and UCLA-USC.
