BREAKING: 4-Star Defensive Lineman Hayden Lowe Commits to USC
The USC Trojans have landed a commitment from local defensive prospect Hayden Lowe. The 6-foot-3, 227-pound edge prospect is the nation’s No. 214 recruit and No. 24 edge prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. He’s the No. 195 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Rankings.
USC did well to grab Lowe during his official visit this weekend with planned trips to Texas and Oregon the next two weeks. Lowe was originally scheduled to take his official visit to USC after trips to see the Longhorns and Ducks, but the Trojans pushed that forward to get Lowe in as part of a huge recruiting weekend.
Lowe previously took official visits to Georgia and Miami. He also held offers from Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and more. Lowe is familiar with the USC campus. He visited with the new USC staff during the Trojans’ Junior Day in January and hit it off with defensive coaches Shaun Nua and Eric Henderson.

2025 Commits (12)
USC currently has 12 verbal commits from the class of 2025 in Justus Terry, Isaiah Gibson, Julian “JuJu” Lewis, Drake Stubbs, Matai Tagoa’i, Romero Ison, Harry Dalton, Trestin Castro, Gus Cordova, Willi Wascher, Riley Wormley and Daune Morris. That list will grow significantly in the coming days barring any surprises. We’d be surprised if this total isn’t at 15 by week’s end.
