BREAKING: Four-Star WR Tanook Hines Commits to USC
USC extended an offer to four-star Houston (Tex.) Dekaney wide receiver Tanook “Nu Nu” Hines back in December, but we didn’t hear much about him until he scheduled a June USC official visit.
Prior to the USC official visit, Notre Dame was thought to be the leader, but the USC visit made a huge impact.
The impact of the USC OV was signify can’t enough hot led to Hines choosing the Trojans over Notre Dame and Texas. Hines announced his commitment to USC on Monday afternoon.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Hines is tabbed as the No. 329 overall player for the Class of 2025, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 52 wide receiver and No. 51 prospect in the state of Texas.

Hines burst onto the scene as a sophomore in 2022 with 783 yards and seven touchdowns on 47 receptions. In his junior season, Hines only played in seven games, but managed to reel in 28 receptions for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
Hines is an incredible athlete, reporting a 4.41 40-yard dash and a 10.7-second 100 meter dash.
