Complete Statistics from the USC Spring Game

USC spring ball finished with the Trojans’ spring game on Saturday afternoon in the Coliseum. In a scoring system used by head coach Lincoln Riley, the defense began with a 24-0 lead and could score points in a variety of ways. Those included turnovers, fourth-down stops and defensive scores. The offenses was limited to traditional scoring means.
Last season, the offense put together a comeback to eventually earn the win. This year, the defense got enough stops in the early going to build a big enough lead. But that side of the ball still needed a final-play interception to finish off the 42-34 win.
