Portage (Mich.) Northern three-star linebacker Jadyn Walker has announced a new offer from USC, coming from the Trojans’ defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn.

Walker has been committed to the Spartans since September. The three-star linebacker was originally committed to Toledo earlier in his recruiting process.

Walker is the nation’s No. 1231 overall prospect and No. 115 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 22 player in Michigan.

Walker is the first prospect to publicly receive an offer from USC’s new defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn. This comes despite Walker not holding an offer from UCLA, where Lynn was just hired away from.

On3 now ranks Walker a linebacker after previously listing him as a wide receiver. At 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, he is a versatile athlete with a number of impressive athletic measurables. His HUDL reports a 4.6 40-yard dash and 36-inch vertical jump.
