Darwin Barlow enters the transfer portal
Veteran running back Darwin Barlow has entered the transfer portal and will look to enroll at another school as a graduate transfer.
Barlow arrived at USC ahead of the 2021 season as a transfer from TCU. He could never quite land a starring role in the Trojans’ offense over three seasons. Though, whenever he was given an opportunity, he seemed to deliver.
In 2021, Barlow rushed 62 times for 289 yards and two touchdowns. He had 16 carries for 96 yards and three touchdowns in 2022. And this year, he rushed for 81 yards and a score on just eight carries.
He rushed for a key touchdown against UCLA last season. And his two carries in 2023 came on back-to-back plays against No. 5 Washington. He took the first carry for 43 yards and then punched in a one-yard touchdown on the following play to give USC a 21-14 lead.
