Duce Robinson Reveals Uniform Number for 2023 Season
Incoming freshman receiver Duce Robinson provided USC fans the first look at him in his cardinal and gold uniform as an official member of the Trojan football program on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound, former five-star recruit posted a photo from USC football media day to his Instagram account.
It looks as though the big receiver will wear No. 19 in his first year at USC.
Robinson wore No. 2 in high school, but that number is worn by fellow wide receiver Brenden Rice. No. 19 is actually the lowest available number on the offensive side of the ball. It was worn previously by tight end Malcolm Epps, who left USC this offseason and landed at Pittsburgh.
Robinson Showing off Early on at USC
Robinson’s 6-foot-6 frame and long arms are the first thing that jump out about him on the football field. But he’s shown early on in his time at USC that his speed on the outside will be a factor as well. Robinson was ranked as a tight end by all the recruiting services. But he’s going to begin his career with the Trojans as an outside receiver.

There is some positional versatility here. Robinson will also learn the slot receiver position and said he could pick up some tight end work as well down the line. But his primary responsibility will be to make plays on the outside.
MLB Draft Up Next for Robinson
One of Robinson’s dreams will very likely be realized in the coming days when he hears his name called as part of the 2023 MLB Draft. The draft will be held from July 9-11 in Seattle.
He is the No. 247-ranked prospect by ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel.
If drafted, Robinson will have the opportunity to play college football in the fall and professional baseball during the spring.
