Elite Safety Jadyn Hudson Back at USC Saturday
Class of 2025 four-star safety Jadyn Hudson narrowed the list of schools he’s considering last month. The list consists of 10 schools from coast to coast.
Michigan, Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, USC, Miami, Washington, Tennessee, and LSU made the cut.
Hudson has visited USC twice in 2023 and will return today when the Trojans face Utah at the Coliseum. His last visit was for the USC Spring Game in April.
Why USC?
Hudson is the No. 63 overall prospect and No. 6 Safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in California.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Hudson holds 25+ Power Five offers and 30+ total as of October 21.
WeAreSC asked Hudson if the USC Spring Game visit moved the needle enough to get him back on campus again in the future?
“Yes it did,” said Hudson. “I’ll be there for as game during the season.”
At one time Oregon was thought to be the school to beat, but keep a close eye on Coach Donte and the Trojans with Hudson. We got a ways until 2025 prospects start committing in large numbers, but USC is definitely among the top options for Hudson.
Breaking down the finalists
Hudson broke down what stands out about each of his top schools with On3’s Hayes Fawcett:
Michigan- I have been down there a few times and the energy is always great from the coaches. Coach Harbaugh knows what he’s doing.

Penn State- Coach Dex keeps it all the 100 and doesn’t sugarcoat anything.
USC– I like what coach Riley is doing with the program & I’ve been back and forth to LA & NorCal my whole life.
Miami- A lot of greats came out of Miami and they do really well with the db’s.
Washington- I like Coach Morell. He is doing something good with the defense and I had a cousin that played there.
Tennessee- Tennessee has been doing good with their db’s and the atmosphere at Rocky Top is crazy.
LSU- The atmosphere is crazy. Who wouldn’t want to play in Death Valley?
