And like that, new USC head coach Eric Musselman has a relatively filled-out roster for the 2024-25 Trojans with some intriguing pieces and experienced depth. Musselman landed three commitments on Monday, making it five total commitments in three days as the Trojans are up to 10 players scheduled to be on this year’s roster.

This was a roster that saw a huge run of players jump into the transfer portal as Musselman was left with just two returning players in Harrison Hornery and Brandon Gardner. Monday saw the addition of some young talent and veteran experience.

The first announcement came from former Bowling Green forward Rashaun Agee. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound big man will finish a long college journey at USC after starting at New Mexico State, then going to Casper Community College and on to Bowling Green.

This past season with the Falcons, Agee was second on Bowling Green with 13.3 points per game and led the team with 9.9 rebounds per game while hitting a team-best 57% of his shots from the floor. He’ll bring a strong rebounding presence to USC. The 9.9 rebounds per game were good for No. 19 in the nation and his 3.82 offensive rebounds per game led the MAC and finished No. 10 in the nation.

Quickly following Agee’s announcement, USC landed a commitment from four-star 2024 prospect Isaiah Elohim. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard had been committed to Musselman at Arkansas but will now join him at USC. He finished as the No. 46 overall prospect in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. Originally from New York, Elohim played his eighth and ninth-grade years at Heritage Christian High School in Northridge and then attended Sierra Canyon.

The On3 Scouting Report for Elohim reads:

Isaiah Elohim is a strong-framed, long-armed wing. At this stage, even with his age, production is the name of his game. He is a straight-line driver to the basket. He is confident and decisive getting downhill toward the basket. He needs to continue developing his handle with some counters and loosen up his hips. Elohim is a good rebounder and not afraid to stick his nose into the mix. He can knock down a jump shot with three-point range off the catch. Would like to see him develop his court vision and passing. Elohim is great in the mid-range, has an array of finishes, able to get to spots and knock down shots at multiple angles. A noted shot maker and point producer. Even playing with guys two and three years older, Elohim produces.”

The third commitment for USC on Monday came from another transfer portal addition in former Boise State forward Chibuzo Agbo Jr. The 6-foot-7, 226-pound forward averaged 13.7 points and 5.1 rebounds, and was one of just two Mountain West players to shoot 50% from inside the arc and 41% outside of it. In the First Four against Colorado, Agbo led the Broncos with 17 points and went 8-of-14 from the floor. Agbo, from St. Augustine High School in San Diego, began his career at Texas Tech, selecting the Red Raiders over USC and other programs.
