Four-Star 2026 Edge Braeden Jones Commits to USC
Despite USC suffered a gut wrenching overtime defeat Saturday night to Penn State 33-30, it was an extremely successful recruiting weekend for Lincoln Riley and the Trojans.
On Sunday afternoon big-time 2026 Illinois Edge Braeden Jones announced his commitment to USC.
USC was not a school that came up often when analysts talk about four-star Chicago (IL) Mount Carmel Edge’s recruitment, but an impactful visit to USC with his family led to this huge dec vision for the Trojans.
Notre Dame led for Jones, the No. 134 overall prospect and the No. 14 Edge in the On300 Rankings. USC offered Jones back in May after USC made a school visit. We’re told this commitment to USC took the Irish by surprise.
USC has the No. 2 ranked 2026 recruiting class with pledges from Jones, Viliami Moala, three-star CB Madden Riordan, four-star CB Brandon Lockhart, four-star Edge Xavier Griffin, four-star WR Ja’Myron Baker and three-star ATH Joshua Holland.
