Four-star safety Kendarius Reddick flips from UCF to USC
The USC Trojans landed a commitment flip on Monday as four-star safety Kendarius “Dee” Reddick pledged to Lincoln Riley’s Trojans.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Reddick is the nation’s 140 overall prospect and No. 13 safety in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.
The Georgia prospect initially committed to Auburn early in his recruitment but flipped to UCF in February after Tigers’ defensive backs coach Zac Etheridge left for Houston. USC defensive backs coach Doug Belk extended an offer to Reddick in mid-January and the Trojans continued to push, eventually landing the commitment flip.
Thomas County Central coach Justin Rogers previously told Score Atlanta of Reddick:
“He’s the quarterback of our defense. He is a very sharp football IQ guy and an emotional leader for us. He’s a natural leader for us. His great personality matches his great work ethic because he is such a competitor. What you see on Friday nights is the same thing you’ll see on Monday afternoon at practice…He will be a great locker room guy with a great personality that draws people in while he does things the right way and models the behavior you want as a coach.”

USC adds Reddick to a defensive back group in the 2025 recruiting class that also features four-star cornerback Trestin Castro and three-star corner Shamar Arnoux.
USC lost two gigantic pieces of its recruiting class from the state of Georgia when defensive linemen Justus Terry and Isaiah Gibson announced decommitments. But the Trojans continue to recruit that state and that area hard. Five-star quarterback Julian Lewis of Carrollton, Georgia is the headliner there as he remains the top-ranked prospect in USC’s 2025 class. Reddick joins four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte and Arnoux as more talented Georgia products joining the class and the USC defense. And the Trojans will continue to push for Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Elijah Griffin.
