From the press box: IMHO Sunday - The return of hope

n my humble opinion, cardinal and gold views on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles… Nobody asked me, but… The wave of excitement over the Trojans’ win over favorite Louisville brought back some hope for the future of USC football, especially when it was looking grimmer for the future with that horrendous 2024 schedule appearing on the far horizon… Aside from the well-deserved thrill of victory and breaking the Trojans’ three-game losing streak, nobody was more relieved with the Holiday Bowl win than head coach Lincoln Riley, who has had the heavy weight of scrutiny thrust upon himself. Ah, that eggnog victory shower after the game never felt so good…
