Game time, channel announced for USC - UCLA
The Nov. 18 Crosstown Showdown between the USC Trojans (7-3, 5-3) and UCLA Bruins (6-4, 3-4) is set for a 12:30 pm kickoff in the Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. The game will air live on ABC.
There will be only bragging rights on the line in this one as the two programs have stumbled down the stretch. They will each be looking to avoid a three-game losing streak. USC has lost four of its past five games and hasn’t won a game by more than eight points since Sept. 23.
UCLA was swept by the Arizona schools the past two weekends. The Bruins lost to the Wildcats 27-10 in Tucson. And this past weekend, a shorthanded Arizona State team beat UCLA in the Rose Bowl, 17-7. UCLA played that game without its top two quarterbacks, who suffered injuries against Arizona.

USC is hurting as well, especially on defense. The Trojans were without linebacker Eric Gentry and safety Jaylin Smith. Cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace played early but was clearly less than 100% healthy and was removed from the game. USC has also been without Jacobe Covington since he suffered an injury against Arizona and fellow cornerback Ceyair Wright hasn’t suited up the past few weeks.
This is the regular season finale for USC. The Trojans have a bye week scheduled for the final week of the regular season. It also could be the final time quarterback Caleb Williams suits up in cardinal and gold. Williams is a likely top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft should he choose to declare. And players with that kind of immediate future have taken to opting out of bowl games that don’t come with championship implications. Though, Williams has given no indication as to his plans at this point.
