It’ll be a Pac-12 After Dark kickoff the next time the USC Trojans take to the Coliseum turn. The game time for USC’s Nov. 5 home game against the California Golden Bears has been set for 7:30 pm PT. It will air on ESPN.

That ends a run of earlier kicks for USC. The Trojans’ game against Washington State, Utah and this coming weekend at Arizona kicked off at 4:30 pm PT, 5:00 pm PT and 4:00 pm PT.

On the plus side, the game will air on ESPN. The Trojans’ upcoming game against the Wildcats will air on Pac-12 Network, the third and likely final time this season USC will play on the network, which is notoriously difficult for many Trojans’ fans to access.

The game against Cal is Homecoming/Reunion Weekend for USC. Trojan fans will have plenty of time for tailgates and celebrations ahead of kickoff.

USC’s only other ESPN kickoff this season was also a 7:30 game. USC beat Arizona State in that one, 42-25 on Oct. 1.

The Trojans will likely be getting a Golden Bears squad in the midst of a demoralizing skid. Cal’s last win came against Arizona on Sept. 24 and there’s a good chance Cal will finish this month without a win. The Golden Bears lost at Washington State, 24-9, on Oct. 1. Cal found a way to lose 20-13 at Colorado in overtime. And Cal dropped a 28-21 game to Washington at home this past weekend. Now, they’ll host a red-hot Oregon team this weekend in Berkeley.

USC’s Remaining Schedule

USC has just one other game remaining this season with an announced kickoff time. Six days after hosting Cal, the Trojans will take on the Colorado Buffaloes in a Friday night game on Nov. 11. That will kick off at 6:30 pm and air on FS1.

Both USC and UCLA fans will likely have their fingers crossed for anything other than a late-night kickoff when the crosstown rivals meet on Nov. 19 at the Rose Bowl.
