The No. 22 USC Trojans (6-2, 4-1) will host the No. 5 Washington Huskies (7-0, 4-0) on Nov. 4 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. That game will kick off at 4:30 pm and air live on ABC.

These two programs haven’t met since the 2019 season, when the Trojans were coming off a thrilling win over No. 10 Utah, but backup quarterback Matt Fink threw three interceptions against the Huskies and Washington ran for 193 yards in a 28-14 win over the Trojans in Seattle.

The last USC win against Washington came in 2016, when the No. 20 Trojans went into Husky Stadium and beat No. 4 Washington 26-13. Adoree’ Jackson picked off Washington quarterback Jake Browning twice as the Trojans held the Huskies to just 276 yards of offense.

This was one of the games circled on the Pac-12 calendar heading into the season, but two-straight losses by the Trojans have taken some of the shine off it. Still, if USC can get through Cal this weekend and Washington takes care of business at Stanford, the teams will face off with major Pac-12 championship game implications.

Washington is having the season USC likely envisioned for itself in 2023. The Huskies have a key rivalry win under their belt with a 36-33 victory over Oregon. Washington has the Heisman Trophy favorite at quarterback in Michael Penix Jr., the nation’s No. 4 offense in yards per game and No. 7 offense in points per game. And they’ve figured out how to get it done on defense. The Huskies aren’t dominant on that side of the ball by any stretch. Washington ranks No. 86 overall in yards per game allowed. But those haven’t turned into points this year. The Huskies have allowed more than 20 points in just three games and rank No. 23 overall in points allowed per game.

USC’s upcoming game at Cal will kick off this Saturday, October 28, at 1 pm PT. It will air on Pac-12 Network.
