IMHO Sunday: Daunting challenges ahead for USC's young gridiron messiah

In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles. The messiah: Although it just seems like the Caleb Williams transfer process was taken right down to its last-day deadline because it was – USC's young football messiah will be facing a daunting gauntlet of upcoming challenges and expectations, which will make his transfer decision process look like a leisurely walk through the rose garden in Exposition Park. The messiah: – Part 2: Now comes the hard part. First, Caleb Williams will be expected to win the quarterback position during spring practice (stop the giggling). After that, all that will be expected of Caleb in 2022 are the prospects of winning the Pac-12 South Division, winning the Pac-12 title game, and putting the Trojans in a position to gain entrance - albeit as a probable darkhorse - in the post-season college football playoffs.
