IMHO Sunday: Head coaching candidates in tiers, Trojans on Pac-12 South life support

IMHO: By virtue of their 42-26 downer to the Utah Utes (3-2, 2-0 Pac-12 South) in the Coliseum on Saturday night, the 2021 USC Trojans (3-3, 2-3 Pac-12 South) are all but mathematically eliminated from the Pac-12 South Division race, and we’re just in early October. If you’re looking for a positive direction, eyes will refocus on the quietly developing search for a new head coach, which, IMHO, is divided into our five Tiers of candidates. It should be noted that a number of speculated coaching candidates saw their teams go down to defeat on Saturday.
