IMHO Sunday: Heading for spring home

In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles: Halfway home: Having passed the midway point of the USC Trojans’ spring practice allotments, you can at least come to some basic conclusions. It’s been pretty much established that for the first time in a long time, there is true accountability, discipline, and improved coaching under first-year head coach Lincoln Riley and his staff. You can also add enthusiasm, excitement, and optimism to this assessment, as well. Lincoln Riley said the progress in the second half of spring ball is what will separate a great team from an average team, and on Tuesday the Trojans will have their second scrimmage to find out what direction they’re headed.
