IMHO Sunday: It’s all about the patch

In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles: The patch: Whether it was a planned strategy, a directive from the new conference, or a simple look-what-we-have-here, there is a lot of buzz deriving from a rather simple change by the team seamstress in charge of uniform logos and symbols. You know what I am talking about or at least I think you do. It’s all about the patch. The patch – Part 2: What patch, you say? Well, have you been on a recent vacation from USC football news? Although USC’s official transition into the Big Ten is just a little over a year away, the current standard campus visit photo shoot now includes home and away jerseys that no longer showcase the Pac-12 logo on the upper front right breast but instead display the logo of the Big Ten Conference.
