IMHO Sunday: The Lincoln Riley era – Only the beginning.
In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles. Beginnings: As Lincoln Riley and his staff were frenetically crisscrossing the country in a private jet, a recruiting whirlwind pausing only to host critical high-valued prospects on campus, mercifully the 2021 USC Trojans (4-8, 3-6 Pac-12 South) ended their season late Saturday night with a 24-14 loss at Cal. The beginning of one era and the ending of another, which got the new USC head coach and the Trojans’ fanbase flowing with excitement and enthusiasm like champagne on New Year’s Eve.
