IMHO Sunday: USC exhibition season has begun
In my humble opinion from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum press box, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I saw, what I heard, and what I thought after No. 6 USC’s 56-28 tale of two halves schizophrenic victory over the San Jose Spartans on Saturday night. Nobody asked me, but... Did you like what you saw on an early Saturday evening? In the first half, I didn't. I really didn't. In the second half, the Trojans or should I say spectacular freshman Zachariah Branch calmed me down considerably. The kid from Las Vegas is what a 5-star recruit is supposed to look like.
