Last season was his first as a starter and he completed 251-392 passes for 2,987 yards with 32 touchdowns and 5 picks. His OC/QB is Hall of Fame QB Kurt Warner, who told AZ Central about Slovis, “If you’re looking for a drop-back quarterback, I’ll put him up against anybody in the state in regards to understanding the game, throwing on time and being able to make every throw on the football field.”
Slovis chose USC over recent offers that included Colorado State, San Diego State, NC State, UNLV and Oregon State.
