Kickoff time, channel set for USC's home game against Utah State
The USC Trojans’ home opener for the 2024 college football season now has a kickoff time and channel. USC’s home game against Utah State on Saturday, September 7 will kick at 8:00 pm PT and air live on Big Ten Network, the school announced..
This is the seventh time these two programs will play. The Trojans are 6-0 against the Aggies. The previous meeting was a 45-7 USC win in 2016. Quarterbacks Max Browne and Sam Darnold both threw two touchdown passes and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster caught two touchdowns. Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson returned a punt 77 yards for a touchdown. That game was the lone win in a 1-3 start to the 2016 season that eventually resulted in a quarterback change and a 9-0 finish to the season with Darnold leading the way.

Five of USC’s wins in the series have been blowouts. The close game came in 2013, with the Trojans struggling to a 17-14 win.
With this game set, USC now knows four of its 2024 game times.
The season opener against LSU in Las Vegas will kick at 4:30 pm PT at Allegiant Stadium and air on ABC. USC’s Big Ten opener against Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 21 will kick at 12:30 PT and air on CBS and Paramount+. And the Trojans’ home game against Rutgers is set for a Friday night, October 25, at 8:00 pm PT and will air on FOX.
