CB Latrell McCutchin Joining Mario Williams at USC

Former 4-Star Austin (TX) cornerback and Oklahoma Sooner Latrell McCutchin announced he’s joining former Oklahoma teammate Mario Williams at USC.
Last Tuesday he’d entered his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal. On Friday he had a brief visit at Baylor and on Saturday he was in Los Angeles at USC for an Official Visit.
In swift fashion, McCutchin announced he’s committed to USC and joining former Oklahoma Sooner Wide Receiver Mario Williams.
WeAreSC still expects Caleb Williams to announce for the Trojans, we just don’t have a timeline on when.

Although USC offered the class of 2021 Austin (TX) native McCutchin, he never seriously considered the Trojans.
Last season McCutchin played a limited role in nine games for the Sooners and accumulated nine tackles. This season, his role was expected to increase significantly. We also believe the 6-foot-1, 185-pound McCutchin will compete for a starting role at cornerback for the Trojans in 2022.
USC also hosted Colorado DB transfer Mekhi Blackmon this past weekend and had an in-home visit with CB Jahlil Florence on Saturday. They’re also pursuing Alabama DB Kylon Griffin and Texas DB Khamari Terrell, both 2022 high school prospects.
