Mario Williams Commits to USC!
When Elite Oklahoma WR Mario Williams announced he was entering the NCAA Transfer Portal last week, On3 Social Media Recruiting Expert Hayes Fawcett had a quote from Williams about his future plans.
“I don’t know what he’s (Caleb Williams) going to do, but I know I want him to be my QB,” Mario Williams told me.
On Friday USC announced the signing Williams.
Announcing Williams, who’ll be a sophomore at USC this season, ahead of QB Caleb Williams was a bit surprising. But WeAreSC expects that announcment to come very soon.

Caleb spent a week in Los Angeles and we’re told is already set up with a private QB coach. So, Williams has exactly what he believes is adequate to optimize his development for the NFL.
Obviously Riley at USC is a primary draw for both Williams. Although we don’t have a timeframe on Claeb announcing, we expect it to be USC and announced in the near future.
