NEWS: Offensive Tackle Vlad Dyakonov Commits to USC

Folsom (CA) High School offensive tackle Vlad Dyakonov is one of USC’s favorite in-state players regardless of position. On Sunday (4/6) Dyakonov announced his commitment to the Trojans a day after his latest unofficial visit to USC.
“USC left a big impression on me,” Dyakonov said. “I like Coach (Zach) Hanson and Coach Reed a lot and I like their plan of getting guys to the NFL.”
Dyakonov hasn’t been a regular on USC’s campus since the January, but he has visited three times and plans to be back at least two more times this spring.
On April 25-27 (unofficial) Dyakonov said he will also take a USC official visit June 20-22 with five-star Folsom QB teammate Ryder Lyons.

For quite some time we would’ve been surprised if Dyakonov didn’t ultimately commit to USC, but there were several top programs pursuing him and Lyons.

As of April 8, USC owns the No. 1 2026 recruiting class ranking. That class ranking was bolstered a bit on Tuesday with the commitment of four-star Mater Dei defensive lineman TomTom Topui and on Saturday with four-star Oaks Christian running back Deshonne Redeuax’s commitment.
The 22 committed players for the Trojans are Dyakonov, Topui, Jake Johnson, Kohen Brown, Malik Brooks, Chase Deniz, Jaimeon Winfield, John Fifita, Esun Tafa, Trent Mosely, Simote Katonaga, Jonas Williams, Xavier Griffin, RJ Sermons, Brandon Lockhart, Braeden Jones, Madden Riordan, Joshua Holland, Shahn Alston, Andrew Williams and Ja’Myron “Tron” Baker.
