Notes and Observations on Five USC Players and Multiple 2026 Targets at the Poly Bowl

This year USC has quarterback Husan Longstreet, wide receiver Tanook Hines, linebacker Matai Tagoa’i, cornerback Alex Graham and cornerback Trestin Castro. All but Tagoa’i is currently enrolled. The four who are, will fly back to LAX on Saturday and resume classes on Tuesday. We observed practices on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and attended the game Friday night at Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu. So, what we'll do is offer up our thoughts on what we saw from the five USC players, plus add notes and tidbits from what we talked about over the past week. There were a few 2026 USC targets in Edge Deuce Geralds and OL Keenyi Pepe playing in the game as well. So, we'll offer some recruiting notes on those guys, plus OL Malakai Lee who was on the sidelines last night.
