O/NSO: Beat the Buffaloes– No. 8 USC at Colorado edition
The Obvious: Hoping to get rid of the bad taste and stench from an unsatisfying win at Arizona State last Saturday night, the No. 8 USC Trojans (4-0, 2-0 Pac-12) will attempt to put on a pretty gridiron face for their national television appearance against Deion Sanders’ upstart Colorado Buffaloes (3-1. 0-1 Pac-12) on Saturday morning (10 a.m. MT/9 a.m. PT) in sold-out Folsom Field. The Not So Obvious: Hopefully, the Trojans learned a valuable lesson last weekend in Tempe when they came out as flat as a board and were taken to task by a game ASU team that had been mocked and criticized as a 34 ½-point underdog to the Cardinal and Gold. As it turned out, the Sun Devils gave USC all they could handle, and SC can figure that underdog Colorado will do the same in Boulder on Saturday. As Lincoln Riley keeps preaching, when USC comes to town, everybody gets up for it. USC fans hope that Caleb Williams and his teammates take their coach's words to heart.
